Oh me, oh my, where did the summer go? Here we are, rolling into September, and soon it'll be fall! Whoa! I've had a fun and busy summer with plenty of gigs and precious time with family and friends and I'm very grateful... I hope that all of you are doing very well and that you're ready to go "back to school," no matter your age! We've been having some wonderful weather and it looks like even more is on the way! Yay! My summer schedule is heating up too, with lots of OUTDOOR events for the whole family in this month of August... Please take a look at what's coming up: PUBLIC PERFORMANCES: Wed. the 4th: Bo Restobar* 6-9pm Fri. the 6th: Springfield Country Club, Springfield, OR. It's open to the public! This will be a dinner and dance with yours truly providing the music from 7:00ish-9:00ish pm. They're having a BBQ Buffet Dinner at 6:00pm at $25 per person, or if you wish to attend without dinner, it will only be $5 per person. If you like the blues and good beer, then this may be the event for you! It actually begins on Fri. night, with a long line-up of entertainers performing both days and nights, so it's packed with music! Tickets are $50 and proceeds go to five local charities. The music starts at 5 PM. This is a great evening of authentic western swing music, performed by this Grammy Award winning band in a fabulous outdoor setting and I'm sooooo happy to be a part of the show!
